By Air

The Coimbatore Airport, known as Peelamedu Airport is lying at a distance of 10 kms from the city center. It has good link with all the major cities of India, namely Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kozhikode and Delhi. Regular flight services to the major cities make travelling by air a smooth experience.

There are also international flights to countries like Colombo, Singapore and Sharjah operating from Coimbatore.

Travelers can hire a taxi from the airport for reaching the city. Normally the taxi costs around Rs. 200 from the airport to the city.

There are plenty of private operators and the State Transport Corporation, such as Kerala SRTC and TSRTC, offering regular luxury and deluxe bus service to various cities of TamilNadu, Karnataka and Kerala.
