Junagarh Fort

The city's prime attraction is the Junagarh fort. Built by Rai Singh in 1587-93. The fort is surrounded by high walls and there is a 30ft deep trench or moat around the fence.In those olden days, the fort was very secured and even many attacks could not destabilise it as it was simply invincible.

Lallgarh Palace

It was built with orange sandstone in memory of king Lal Singh, father of Ganga Singh(1881-1942). The palace was designed by the European Sir Suinton Jacob. The palace is charming combination of western opulence and eastern imagination.

Jain Temple

The complex of the Jain Temples is situated 5km from the town.It was built in the 14th century. Bhandeshwar (1571) and Sandeshwar (1536) are the two temples which are named after the two brothers who built these temples. Bhandeswar is adorned with intricate glass work and frescos. Sandeshwar is famous for its enamelled and gold plated and beautifully engraved wall paintings. This exquisite temple was dedicated to the 5th Trithankara Suminath and Sandeshwar Temple was dedicated to the 22nd Tirthankar Neminath.

Camel breeding farm

Visit Asia's largest modern camel farm.Run by government ,it was built in 1975 and serves as a sprawling 2000 acre breeding ground of 300 camels.One can sit on the camel back and taste camel milk.

Karanimata Temple

Situated at Deshnak, the deity here is Karaniji, an incarnation of Goddess Durga. It was built by Maharaja Ganga Singh with a gold parasol on the 2nd storey. The marble carvings and the silver gate are also beautiful. The other great attraction of this temple is the presence of numerous rats in the temple. It is believed that if a rat touches the visitor's body it is auspicious and it is a sin to kill any rat.

Devi Kunda Sagar

Located 8 km to the west of the town. The Chattis of the rulers of Bikaner on stone and sandstone cenotaphs or memorials are situated here. Among the memorial pillars Rao Kalyan Mai tower is the oldest. The white marble Chattis of Maharaja Surath Singh is spectacular.
